IT expert with the initials I.T. hacked a company from Skopje, made it a debt of 20.000 euros

A 40-year-old resident of Bogdanci received a criminal report after, according to the police, he hacked the computer of the Gevgelija representative office of a company from Skopje, during which he incurred a false debt of around 20.000 euros, the Ministry of the Interior announced.

"OVR Gevgelija filed a criminal complaint against I.T. (40) from Bogdanci, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of the crime of "damage and unauthorized access to a computer system", the police say.

"On 29.11.2022, the accused, using a program downloaded from the Internet, entered the personal computer of a legal entity from Skopje - representative office in Gevgelija and created a debt in the amount of 1.249.000 denars," the police bulletin reads.
