It goes without saying that there is no potion that will magically make you lose weight overnight. However, mint tea can be very helpful if you are trying to get rid of belly fat.

Nutritionist Courtney D'Angelo she told "Eat This, Not That" magazine that mint tea is one of the the best slimming drinks.

"There are no calories. It has a sweet taste and you will be able to reduce your appetite and desire for sweets. In addition, mint has antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It also solves digestive problems,” she says.

Research published in the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology found that participants who consumed mint were able to alleviate irritable bowel syndrome. In this way, they also reduced the bloating of the stomach. Peppermint relieves smooth muscle spasms that can be caused by menstruation.

This tea does not contain caffeine, and it has a positive effect on mental capacity. Research from Northumbria University found that mint improves mood and memory.
