Ukrainian refugees are increasingly being targeted for sexual exploitation, with increased interest in pornography purporting to depict refugees from the war-torn country, a Thomson Reuters survey shows.

According to this research, Ukrainian refugees can be victims of both on-the-ground traffickers and cyber-voyeurs.

The organization called for immediate action to strengthen protections for Ukrainian women and children who are at risk of sexual exploitation.
