Whether any people have been detained in connection with the bus accident in Bulgaria, the public will be informed at an appropriate time, said Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski.

According to Spasovski, the persons are available, they are here and they are being talked to based on orders from the Public Prosecutor's Office (Public Prosecutor). Something was found in the computers that were confiscated from the travel agency, but these are also facts that will be analyzed by the Public Prosecutor.

The details cannot be said now, the minister emphasized, because the investigation is conducted in the authorities, and not in the media.

- There will be conversations with passengers from other buses that were in that group in the evening. However, the orders are awaited and we will act on them because everything that is not collected as material in accordance with the order of the competent authorities, is not used as evidence. Such data are already being collected from the Public Prosecutor through the Ministry of Interior, Spasovski emphasized, answering journalists' questions after the press conference at which she and the Ministers of Interior and Transport and Communications, Bujar Osmani and Blagoj Bochvarski.

According to him, it is known when the other buses arrived in the country, but not all of them entered the convoys.

- There is an exact time frame when they arrived and which passengers. All that data is available and is in the Prosecutor's Office, said Spasovski.

He said that the facts about this and all other investigations should be heard only by the competent authorities.

- Investigations are conducted in the institutions, not in the public. Listen to the official information transmitted by the competent authorities, everything else is speculation. If we want to have information and facts, we need to listen to the competent authorities, said the Minister.

He added that everything requested from the Bulgarian investigation team, such as data, document, material or information, has been collected and submitted.

Spasovski also informed that a special case has been registered in the Prosecutor's Office in order to determine all aspects related to the legal entity and to have responsibility.

- A special case has been registered in the Prosecutor's Office which should determine all the facts and evidence that are correlated with the accident and the illegal operation of the company. We have introduced a special operational processing that will not apply only to one company, but to all companies and institutions. Checks will be made on every aspect: from obtaining drivers' medical certificates to obtaining licenses. Wherever omissions and irregularities are identified, there will be liability, said Spasovski.

In terms of responsibility, he also pointed the finger at delays in proceedings.

- Responsibility is one of the most important issues. It is very important to have effective procedures. I believe that not only the intuitions that acted before the investigation or in the investigation procedure, but also within the court proceedings should be dynamic. If that is not the case, and we see that this is not the case with Laskarci, another responsibility will have to be borne. Each of us will not believe in a system in which there is a delay of justice. Therefore, all institutions will have to be put into operation as soon as possible in order to have a concrete responsibility. Otherwise, all the controls, the achievement of good results in terms of victims and injuries, all credibility are destroyed by one or two cases with deaths and procedures that are dragging on in the court labyrinths, said Spasovski.
