Greek Prosecutor's Office Investigates False News Related to Covid-19 Home Use Tests

The Greek Prosecutor's Office will launch a preliminary investigation into the fake news spread on the Internet, which is related to the tests for home use, the so-called Self-tests for covid-19, which are mandatory for students, the Greek news agency ANA-MPA reported, MIA correspondent from Athens reports.

According to ANA-MPA, the fake news says that if a student who tested himself with a self-test got a positive result, and the second test confirmed that he was infected, then he will be transferred to a "covid center", something that does not exist and is not provided in the relevant ministerial decision.

The competent prosecutor gave the order to start an investigation, ie to reveal the false news, as well as those who spread it.
