The love story of Selma Bajrami and Mujo Misic started about seven years ago when she met the father of her child at a party. Sparkling love quickly ignited and marriage ensued.

"Shortly after the wedding I thought all luck was on my side, but my husband and I realized we were not for each other and decided to divorce so that our son Daris could grow up in a home without quarrels. "It was easier to plan than to do, so I was left with a two-year-old child and two suitcases in front of the door," Selma said.

At that moment she was completely alone, she did not know German well enough, and she was on the verge of financial collapse because she did not work. She soon found an apartment and took a course.

"I knew I had to be part of this city if I wanted to provide for my child," Selma said.

Although she tried to have normal communication with her husband, he decided to take away her child.

"I went through a terrible agony. Daris was small, but he felt that something was happening, he did not understand why we are no longer together. He began to withdraw and find it difficult to speak. "We took him to a psychologist and fortunately it was determined that he had a barrier because of the two languages ​​he spoke," says Selma.

He overcame that obstacle today, and she says she is extremely happy.

"I do not limit his relationship with his father because I know he needs us both to grow normally. "I try with my son, even though my job is specific, to spend as much time as possible," Selma said.
