The bins along Partizanska Street in Karposh have disappeared, you will have to carry your trash in your pocket
The Public Enterprise "Communal Hygiene" claims that the company itself did not remove any of the small waste bins placed in Karposh, on the contrary, 13 were replaced in this municipality. Citizens are appealing for new ones to be placed in place of the "disappeared".
There is not a single trash can for small waste along the entire stretch from Karposh 1 to the "Bukuresht" polyclinic along Partizanski Odredi boulevard. Therefore, citizens who walk along the path along the boulevard, if they use paper tissues or sit on a bench with the intention of resting, refreshing themselves or "snacking" something, will have to take their drink wrappers, food paper or cigarette butts with them in search of the nearest trash can. The first one will be found only at the polyclinic, and the next one at the "Leptokaria" shopping mall, where empty holders can be seen where trash cans once hung.

The situation is the same at the bus stop at the Karposh Hotel, where citizens will have to put their small trash in their pockets or bags and take it home by bus.
On the other side of the boulevard, the situation is a little better, so on this stretch you can find two or three baskets in not very good condition.
Karposh residents are wondering where the baskets that were placed along with the metal benches a few years ago have disappeared.
I don't understand what happened. So, on this stretch, every 50-100 meters, two benches were placed, and next to them there was a trash can. Suddenly they disappeared. If they were broken or damaged, we would have seen them, but they are simply gone. Whether they were stolen, whether the utilities took them away, no one knows. But this is not right. Then people complain that they threw trash on the streets. Well, they throw it, not everyone has the culture or the habit of carrying trash in their pockets and looking for a trash can around the city - says Aleksandar, a resident of the settlement.
When asked what happened to the small waste bins along Partizanska Street in Karposh and whether they were withdrawn from the Public Enterprise "Communal Hygiene" for some reason, they claim that nothing like that happened.
None of the small waste bins placed in the municipality of Karposh, along Partizanski Odredi Boulevard, have been withdrawn by the PE "Komunalna Higiena" - Skopje. On the contrary, the PE "Komunalna Higiena" recently replaced the damaged bins with new ones, as follows: in the municipality of Karposh, 13 small waste bins were replaced, in the municipality of Saraj, 7 bins were replaced, in the municipality of Gjorce Petrov, 6 bins were replaced, and in the municipality of Centar, 5 bins were replaced - the Enterprise says.
Urban equipment is something that is part of the normal functioning of any city. Throughout Skopje, citizens often witness that there are not enough trash cans on the streets, that some of them are broken, bottomless or damaged. Their timely replacement is one of the conditions, in addition to the regular emptying of municipal waste containers, to maintain basic hygiene in public areas.
Therefore, if "Communal Hygiene" has not taken the bins away and does not know what happened to them, if they do not know that they are missing, we remind them to check and install new ones. Citizens really need them.
