An Iraqi man organized a criminal group for migrant smuggling, the Ministry of the Interior filed a criminal complaint against him

The National Unit for the Suppression of Migrant Smuggling and Human Trafficking at the Department for Criminal Investigations in the Department for the Suppression of Organized and Serious Crime, submitted a criminal complaint against A.J. (28) to the Public Prosecutor's Office for GOKK, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of crimes crimes of "organizing a group and encouraging the commission of human trafficking, child trafficking and smuggling of migrants" and "smuggling of migrants", said the Ministry of Interior.

A.J., who is currently serving a prison sentence in a penitentiary in the Federal Republic of Germany, in the period from August 2021 to May 2023, in coordination with criminal groups that operated on the territory of the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Hungary planned and negotiated the number of migrants from the Middle East to be transferred from the Republic of Turkey or the Republic of Greece to the EU countries.

Also, in the period from April to October 2022, through other persons, through a quick money transfer service, he made several transfers of funds in the total amount of 6.670 euros to two persons, who were previously reported as members of a suppressed criminal group in 2023, say the Ministry of the Interior.
