Communal inspectors of the Municipality of Centar, starting from February, are carrying out intensified inspection actions at locations around the Green Market, in order to sanction people who resell products on green areas, in front of buildings and on the sidewalks around the market.

Acting on citizens' complaints about the sale of products on a public surface, the detected illegal resellers were fined 150 euros by the municipal wardens. In the past month, after the actions carried out in the vicinity of the Green Market, 90 fines were issued in accordance with the Law on Public Cleanliness.

Today, the Mayor of Centar Municipality, Goran Gerasimovski, joined the municipal inspectors and wardens and, together with the members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, carried out controls in the area of Zelenoto Pazarche.

Inspection controls of illegal resellers are already yielding concrete results. There is no more scattered waste, public areas are freed and citizens can move freely and complete their daily tasks. The residents ask us to deal with the resellers, we discussed that at the meetings with citizens, we also discussed it with the management of "Skopski Pazar" and I think we are well on our way to a final solution. The actions will continue in the coming period, until the resellers' habits finally change - said Gerasimovski.

Inspection controls of the communal inspection, as announced by the Center, will continue in the coming period at several locations in the municipality, wherever such problems appear.
