The influencer known as Sankiange died on 34 years, after drinking more than four bottles of baijiu, the so-called Chinese vodka, during the live broadcast of the Chinese version of Tik-Tok - Doujin, writes CNN.

In a video on Chinese TikTok, the influencer can be seen drinking one bottle after another without stopping, and later that afternoon he was found dead on a table at a friend's home.

A friend of the influencer, surnamed Zhao, said that at the time, more than 100 people had signed up to the online chat space to follow the influencer's venture. He also said that Sanqiangge started live streaming after his business venture failed four years ago and specialized in online competitions where participants tried to outdo each other in baijiu drinking.

Another video circulating online from the previous broadcast shows Sanqiange pouring two bottles of baijiu into a huge wine glass that he held up with both hands before drinking it all. Zhao said Sanqiange recently started broadcasting live from a room a friend gave him after receiving noise complaints from his neighbors.

The fateful live broadcast went off without any apparent hiccups and no attendees reported any concerns. However, when Sankiange's friend returned home later that day, he found him motionless and without a pulse.

"It is very sad that he died alone," Zhao said.

The death of the influencer caused various comments on social networks.

"They do it all for viewership and awards," wrote one of the comments.

“What kind of people enjoy watching such stupid influencer endeavors?” asked another.

By the way, the influencer participated in a competition called "PK" in which he competed against another influencer. The winner of the challenge receives gifts from the viewers and the loser of the challenge is punished.

After this tragic event, the video of their competition was deleted from this social network.
