In memory: Gligorie Gogovski died

Gligorie Gogovski, one of the most important and prominent Macedonian personalities from the economic, social and political life, died today in Tetovo at the age of 79.

Gogovski was for many years the General Manager of the woolen factory "Teteks" from Tetovo and President of the Supervisory Board of TTK Bank AD Skopje.

He was born in Tetovo, in 1943. In 1968 he graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Skopje, and received his master's degree from the University of Zagreb. In the period from 1986 to 1991 he was the President of the last Executive Council of S.R. Macedonia. As prime minister of the transitional government, he prepared for the first free and multi-party elections.

The managerial capacity, commitment, professionalism, responsibility and capacity to make the right business decisions of Gogovski were essential for the successful management and leadership of "Teteks", which, 70 years to date, has managed to walk the path of success.

The vision in leading the current and development economic strategy of the factory "Teteks" was the main driver in all processes since the establishment, first of Teteks Bank AD Skopje, later Teteks - Credit Bank AD Skopje, and then TTK Bank AD Skopje, and starting from the ambition of decades of existence, tradition and experience to be shaped in a new, modern way of banking that will create value and support for citizens and domestic small and medium businesses. As President of the Supervisory Board of TTK Bank AD Skopje he was an active participant in creating the strategic goals of today's TTK Bank AD Skopje which over the years has proven to be a stable, profitable and reliable banking player.

Gogovski's valued personal and professional expertise will continue to exist as a successful example for the economic, financial and social field.

His many years of successful market activity will be an inspiration, incentive and example for value creation. Future generations will see in it an example from which they will learn and, upgrading, will continue on the same path for many years to come.
