IDF: About 65 rockets fired from Lebanon into the Galilee in the past hour
The Israeli military said that in the past hour, about 65 rockets were fired from the direction of Lebanon towards the Galilee, and the militant group Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack, claiming that the targets were the positions of the Israeli army.
The IS statement added that some rockets were intercepted, while others hit open areas.
Several rockets hit the northern Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona, damaging at least one house, local officials said.
Firefighters are extinguishing fires in buildings and in open space in Kiryat Shmona, The Times of Israel reports.
Meanwhile, the police said that there were no injuries.
