Tourists visiting Italy's Lake Como will now be able to buy a metal canister of sealed lake air as a souvenir, CNN reports. For almost 10 euros, tourists can get a 400 milliliter can of "fresh air from the most beautiful lake in the world," which, as the packaging says, is "100% authentic." According to the publication, the sale of canned air was started by the company Italikomunika, it reported Telegraph.bg.
"It's not just a product, it's a tangible and emotional memory that you carry in your heart," quoted CNN marketing expert David Abagnale.
At the same time, the mayor of Como, Alessandro Rapino, criticized the idea of selling air canisters. He stated that he would prefer that tourists take other souvenirs after visiting the lake.
