The Municipality of Centar rejects them claims expressed at the press conference by "Chance for Center". The municipality says that the initiative "tries at all costs to defocus the public, accusing that part of the land of the former factory" Treska "was sold in private."

- Municipality of Centar has not sold land outside the legal regulations, nor will such a thing happen in the future. The Mayor of the Municipality of Centar has stated several times that he is committed to humane urbanism, which is why he is already going out on the field to see the actual conditions, location and location of buildings that are subject to submitted requests for construction.

For the specific case, with the mentioned plots near "Treska" the municipality received 6 cases for completion of a construction plot and 20 cases for purchase of land under the building and after these procedures the municipality has not yet responded. As for the legal regulations and why the decrees for completion of plots have not been changed for 5 years, "Chance for Center" should know that the municipality has no competence or any opportunity to make any changes. Hence, we call on "Chance for Center" not to manipulate the public that the competencies on this issue are within the local self-government, say the municipality.

As for the competition solutions, according to the Municipality of Centar, the space at the former factory "Treska" will be arranged together with the Detailed Urban Plan (DUP) for Bunjakovec 1 and 2, and not as a separate unit.

- The Municipality of Centar emphasizes that the claims of "Chance for Center" which state that 47% of the land is state-owned, are not true because it is actually about 15% of the total land that needs to be completed, while the rest are public areas such as footpaths, streets and sidewalks that are not subject to completion at all.

The Municipality of Centar also urges "Chance for Centar" not to manipulate the public that Mayor Goran Gerasimovski refuses to cooperate with the Participatory Body for Urbanism, because he has personally initiated meetings with the Commission for Urbanism, as well as with architects and owners in order to all stakeholders are heard.

"In the end, as a municipality, we reiterate that we are looking for a way for the public interest to be fully protected, but we can not be above the law. These are private properties that we as a municipality are not legally allowed to stop. "We are looking for a solution in the interest of the citizens, but which at the same time will be painless for the municipality, because the Municipality of Centar can not suffer millions of damages on the backs of the citizens," the statement said.
