Igor Juric who is the father of Tijana Juric, the girl who was abducted and killed in 2014 in Serbia, and is the founder of the foundation that bears her name, dedicated to missing and abused children, commented on the case of the missing Matej Parish and pointed out two things he said were key to the search. which entered its ninth day.

He said that for the divers searching the Sava and Danube, the most important thing is to know where Matej allegedly fell into the water, and that, on the other hand, there is no concrete evidence that the young man from Split is in the river at all.

Juric: There is not enough talk about two key things

In an interview with "Blic", he said that the video that was published a few days ago, which was posted as a video showing the movement of the missing Matej Parish, was also neglected.

"Somehow the recordings in the whole story were neglected, especially the part where a person swims in the Sava. When the video appeared, father Nenad Parish said that in the part where the person is seen swimming in the river, it was not his son and then it was forgotten. The key question that is not asked is who recorded it, and it was recorded with a mobile phone, while the other video from the surveillance cameras, when it was recorded and after all, who is this person swimming in the Sava? And why was it recorded? How come no one is trying to solve this? says Juric.

He says that for the police, ie the divers, it is crucial where the person they are looking for fell into the water.

"I talked to divers and for them the key thing is where a man fell into the water. That is key evidence for them. In fact, there is no evidence that Matthew fell into the water. If he did not fall into the water, the question is why did anyone consciously want to redirect the investigation? So who is the owner of the video and who is swimming in the water? What is happening here? These are quite logical questions that arise. "This video can say a lot in the direction of finding Matej, but it can also show whether someone is deliberately undermining the investigation," said Igor Juric.

Through the story with his father Nenad and the friends who were with him in the Gothic nightclub on the night when the man from Split disappeared, Igor, as he says, does not believe that Matej was under the influence of narcotics.

- What is very important is where he was last located the phone, where it was switched off, where the base station located the telephone. If it is in the water, then divers can easily find it, and no one mentions that. What happens to the phone? Recent conversations and text messages can be downloaded, all of which may be the key to the case. So, we have two key things that no one mentions: a video of a man swimming in a river and a telephone.

Matthew's friends came to the police sooner than expected

7,5 hours are lost first from 02:30 to 10 o'clock, and additional 8 hours later from 10 to 18 o'clock, this is a catastrophic waste of time in search of the missing person. At 10 o'clock they were at the police station and reported him missing. Then they were told to ask at the hospitals. When they checked, they returned to the station at 18 pm and said he was gone. Police then launched a search. "It's a mistake of one of her friends," Tijana Juric's father told Blic.

In the whole story, he says, something is wrong. There is a lot of controversy, he says.

"There is no video of him entering the water. There is no footage of him looking back at the stairs. That's very strange. I have to say that something is wrong with the whole story. There is a lot of controversy. Where is the rest of the video? ” The whole part of the city is under cameras. "It is unbelievable that he suddenly loses his trace", says Igor and emphasizes that he admires Nenad Periš: "He gives a reassuring message. I congratulate him and admire his behavior. "I could not do that," Igor Juric is honest.
