From Russia, more precisely from St. Petersburg, comes a football story according to which a real Hollywood blockbuster can be made.
Namely, Africans living in St. Petersburg managed to deceive an unnamed Italian team for 800.000 euros.
They found out through their sources that the Italian team is interested in hiring a football player from Denmark and they managed to make an incredible fraud.
They made a fake passport with the name and surname of the football player that the Italian club was interested in, then with the passport they opened a bank account in a bank and finally they managed to falsify all the documentation. with the symbols of the Danish team that was to receive the compensation money.
Then, when the Africans found out that the negotiations were over, the documentation was sent to the Italian team who only had to pay the money to a bank to make the transfer. Then they sent the fake data to a bank account in Russia to which 800.000 euros were transferred.
Russian police managed to detect the fraud and arrested all the suspects, but most of the money was spent, a in the apartment where the Africans were staying, all the necessary machines for making fake passports, credit cards, ID cards were discovered…
The fraudsters are African immigrants stationed in St. Petersburg, one from Burkina Faso and three from Nigeria, Russian police said.
