Hristovski remains at the head of ANB: My priority is this important post
The director of the National Security Agency, Bojan Hristovski, remains at the head of the ANB despite his election as an assistant at the Faculty of Security.
- The decision of the Teaching and Research Council to select an assistant at the Faculty of Security has been definitely confirmed, for which I am sincerely grateful to all the professors who gave their support. I must also point out that the application after a public announcement was released by me more than a month ago, before my appointment as a director. I don't know what the procedure and legal possibilities are in these circumstances, but of course my priority is the performance of this important function that I am currently performing, says Hristovski for "Sloboden Pechat".
To our question whether if the procedure requires him to give up the title of assistant in order to remain in the director's position, Hristovski will do so, he confirmed that he would give up the title of assistant.
His confirmation that he is staying at ANB comes after a statement from the government that he is staying at the Agency to implement security reforms.
Director Hristovski has yet to "decide" whether he will be Hristovski's assistant
