Dutch scientists claim to have discovered an antibody to the coronavirus

Scientists from the Netherlands at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam and the University of Utrecht have discovered an antibody that can help detect and prevent the spread of infection with the new coronavirus.

Their discovery has yet to undergo rigorous testing and could take months, the BBC reported.

The Netherlands reported that the number of people infected with the coronavirus had increased in the past 24 hours - from 155 to 959.
