Hill: I will leave it to others to conclude why the arrests of Serbs follow the failed dialogue in Brussels

The American ambassador in Belgrade Christopher Hill stated that the United States does not know many details about yesterday's arrest of three Kosovo Serbs.
"They are said to be linked to crimes that allegedly took place thirty years ago. I will leave it to others to conclude why the arrests followed immediately after the failed round of dialogue in Brussels and during the General Session of the United Nations," said the American ambassador in Belgrade.
Hill said he believes this can be resolved quickly and would like to see "more talk about cooperation and less about arrests."
He also pointed out that the US does not understand how the ban on the import of goods from Serbia to Kosovo, which was introduced by the authorities in Pristina, can help the overall situation in the relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
