The American ambassador to Serbia, Christopher Hill, said last night in Preševo ​​that he felt progress in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and that according to him, "one of the most important elements of all this is the fact that Pristina should form the Community of Serbian Municipalities", reported Beta.

-Of course there are other things that Pristina should do, but I think that all of this leads to a better situation with the European Union and in fact this can be seen as an agreement between Pristina and Brussels, said Hill and added that "the same can be done tell about the Serbian side as well."

The ambassador added that he believes that the representatives of Brussels have "great credit" for this agreement.

-Mr. Lajcak, especially Mr. Borel, who "wasted" 12 long hours while there were many other important things related to Ukraine, dealing with the problems of Serbia and Kosovo, Hill said in a statement to journalists after meeting with the mayor of Preševo, Shqiprim Arifi .

Hill also said it was clear "that the US absolutely 100 percent supports what the EU wants to do," Beta reported.

He emphasized that the United States, although not a party to the dialogue, considers itself part of that process and will continue to engage in it.
