Chaos in Norway: At least 50 people infected with Omicron at Christmas party

Officials in Norway say at least 50 people in Oslo have been infected with the coronavirus ion micron strain.

The cases are related to the recent Christmas celebration of a company in a restaurant in Oslo, officials said.  reports the AP.

Oslo said in a statement that more cases were expected.

Officials are trying to find out how the virus was transmitted during the celebration.

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health says patients live in Oslo and surrounding municipalities.
