The actress Gwyneth Paltrow will celebrate its jubilee 50th birthday on September 27 this year. On that occasion, she wrote new post on her website and spoke frankly about the aging process and the path to self-love.

"As I do everything I can to strive for good health and longevity, I have a mantra that I put into the mindless thoughts that try to derail me: I accept. I accept stretch marks, sagging skin and wrinkles. I accept my body and let go of the need to be perfect, to look perfect, to defy gravity, to defy logic. I embrace my humanity," Paltrow wrote.

Paltrow spoke on this topic back in 2019. In conversation with the presenters Jean Godfrey-Jun и Megan O'Neill, she shared that she wasn't thrilled with her appearance in the past, but that she's come to accept her flaws over the years.

"I never considered myself beautiful. I think the moments when someone feels completely satisfied with their appearance are rare. I feel like almost every woman - when I look in the mirror, I don't see what other people see. It is internal, indescribable. I don't know how to tell you, but as the years go by, I'm less and less self-critical, now I clearly know what I want in life," shared the actress three years ago, in her appearance on the "goop" podcast.
