Guterres called for de-escalation in Syria
The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, expressed serious concern over the "recent and extensive violations of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity", UN spokesman Stephane Dijarric said.
"The Secretary-General is particularly concerned about the hundreds of Israeli airstrikes in several locations in Syria, underscoring the urgent need for a de-escalation of violence on all fronts throughout the country," Dijarik said, The Times of Israel reports.
