Gourmet pizza with tofu cheese and zucchini

Tofu is a cheese made from soybeans. It is traditionally prepared in the Far East for more than 2 millennia. "Tofu" gets its name after "arriving" on the Japanese islands.

Through the vegetarian diet, tofu products have arrived on our table in recent years. The taste is distinctive, yet adaptable in many recipes. It is perfectly combined with all kinds of vegetables, as well as pastries.

If you are tired of the traditional taste of pizza with milk cheese, deli meat, mushrooms and arugula, we have a new suggestion for you – Gourmet pizza with tofu cheese and zucchini.

Ingredients:

- 450g of pizza dough
- 100g of tofu cheese
- 150 g of zucchini
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
– 1 cup of yogurt
– 1 small teaspoon of oregano
– 1 chopped onion in circles
- 50g chopped black olives to taste
- salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Line the pan with parchment paper and place the pizza dough on top.

Brush the dough with olive oil and bake for 8 minutes. Meanwhile, mix together the grated tofu cheese (or cut into pieces), yogurt and oregano and add salt to taste and black pepper.

Reduce the oven temperature to 220 degrees.

Spread the dough with the yogurt and tofu mixture and add the zucchini (cut into strips or into thin rings) and the onion cut into circles. If desired, you can also add finely chopped olives. Bake for another 8 minutes.
