Gourmet pizza with bacon, mushrooms and mozzarella
The origin of pizza is quite a controversial topic. Namely, many cities such as Naples and Genoa consider themselves to be the "fathers" of pizza. In fact, considering that it is a type of bread, it is present in many different varieties all over the world and depending on its ingredients as well as local gastronomic traditions, its origin is not entirely historically confirmed.
If you are a fan of this gastronomic specialty, we have a new recipe for you - Gourmet pizza with bacon, mushrooms and mozzarella.
For the dough:
- 1 fresh yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 70 ml of water
- 225 g flour
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
About the filling:
- 80 g of tomato sauce
- 60 g of mozzarella
– 5 slices of bacon
– 40 g of chopped fresh mushrooms
- 40 g of parmesan
- 1 egg
After the yeast has risen, mix it with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and knead the dough. Knead it well and shape it into a ball, then place it in a bowl covered with a cloth to rise for 40 minutes, until doubled in size. Then mix it and let it rest for another 15 minutes. Roll out the finished dough and place it in a tray lined with baking paper. Spread it with tomato sauce, put the grated cheeses and sprinkle with a little thick cooking cream, just a little.
Put pieces of bacon, chopped mushrooms and season with salt and black pepper. Bake in an oven heated to 200 degrees. Take the pizza out of the oven, separate the white from the yolk and put the white in it, then let it bake. Then take the pizza out of the oven, put the yolk in the middle and bake again for two minutes. Sprinkle with oregano and serve.
