A group of growers from Tikvesh today are protesting on the road Kavadarci - Negotino, demanding the solution of several long-standing problems in viticulture.
The organizers of the protest stated that we are facing problems with the irrigation of the vineyards and unpaid grapes from some wineries.
- We are also asking for subsidies to provide fertilizer for fertilizing the vineyards. We are also requesting a meeting between representatives of growers and wineries with the mediation of the Ministry of Agriculture to determine the quantities of grapes that winemakers plan to buy this year, at which sugar and price per kilogram, the organizers added.
The protest is scheduled to last until 13 p.m.
