Grubi: We are ready for any decision that would enable consensual approval of the constitutional amendments
The latest political developments in the country, the process of constitutional amendments, the path of European integration, as well as the start of work on Corridors 8 and 10D, were the focus of the talks at today's meeting of the First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Political System and Inter-Community Relations, Artan Grubi with the deputy American ambassador in the country Eric Meyer.
As Grubi's Cabinet announced, the two interlocutors discussed the political situation in the country, as well as the European integration process and the continuation of the road to opening the negotiation chapters.
Grubi stressed that the European future of the citizens and our country is more important and that we are ready for any decision that would enable consensual approval of the constitutional amendments.
The discussion about the importance of the implementation of projects such as Corridor 8 and 10D not only for the country but also for the entire region made the entire Government to commit to their quick and high-quality implementation, already after the approval of legal amendments, the announcement states.
During the meeting, Grubi thanked Meyer for the great support for our country on the European path, as well as for the continuation of the strategic dialogue with the United States.
