Grubi will organize a football match between the cabinets of the Bulgarian and Macedonian governments
At the first meeting of the Joint Working Group on Culture, Education, Science, Tourism, Youth and Sports, its Co-Chair, First Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi, as a priority agreed a football match between the cabinets of the Macedonian and Bulgarian governments.
The two governments held a joint session in Sofia today, and four working groups held parallel meetings.
Grubi's cabinet said its working group had set common priorities for work in the coming period, including "organizing a football match between government cabinets".
The meeting also set as priorities the announcement of the logo and slogan of the joint government sessions, the compilation of a joint cultural calendar, the promotion of cooperation between the universities of our countries for more attractive study programs, exchange of experiences and opportunities for practical teaching, organization of joint scientific conferences, intensification of the cooperation between the Agency for Youth and Sports of our country and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Bulgaria, mutual promotion of attractive tourist destinations and deepening of cooperation in the field of tourism as a strong predisposition for economic development.
"Very positive atmosphere and very warm hospitality from our Bulgarian colleagues and we have just finished the first session of the Committee on Culture, Education and Science, Youth and Sports and Tourism and I am very optimistic about achieving many joint projects that we will implement in the coming months." "We are signing many memoranda of cooperation between the two sides and I appreciate that this session of the commission, but also the plenary session that will follow will be successful and I am convinced of very optimistic results from our entire visit to Sofia," Grubi said after a two-day visit to Sofia.
