The former special envoy of the US president for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Richard Grenell, this morning, afterKFOR rioters surrounded municipal buildings in the north, stated that "we have passed from peace and progress to chaos and occupation".

In a post titled "latest news" on Twitter, Grenell shared a video in front of the municipal building in Leposavic, where barbed wire stretches and where a large number of KFOR members are located.

"NATO troops occupied buildings in Kosovo. American soldiers and American money. We went from peace and progress under Trump to chaos and occupation under Biden. "Biden is so weak," Grenell said.

Since this morning, KFOR forces have surrounded the municipal buildings in Leposavic, Zvecan and Zubin Potok.

The members of the Italian section of KFOR are located in Severna Mitrovica, at the entrance to Bosnjačka Mahala, where they have been deployed since the early hours of the morning. Several jeeps and trucks with more than 100 soldiers are present.

In Zvečan there is also a large number of members of the Polish contingent of KFOR, who form the first ring of "security" around the municipal building. Behind them, near the municipal building itself, are members of the Kosovo police.

As a reminder, schools in the north of Kosovo are closed this morning due to the new security situation and the huge presence of the Kosovo police, who on Friday forcibly broke into the buildings of the municipalities of Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposavic.
