20.000 "Astra Zeneka" vaccines left Greece for Albania today, the MIA correspondent from Athens said, via social media, from the Secretariat for Civil Protection of Greece.

They add that together with the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs they are promoting the sharing of vaccines "because in the fight against Covid-19 together we are stronger".

Earlier this month, Greek government spokeswoman Aristotle Peloni, in response to a question from MIA correspondent in Athens, confirmed that Greece, in coordination with the European Commission, would send 20.000 doses of vaccines to Macedonia and Albania, after Health Minister Venko Filipce revealed that Northern Macedonia expects 70.000 doses of vaccines, of which 50.000 from Bulgaria and 20.000 from Greece.
