Schools in 10 cities and provinces in Turkey that were hit by today's devastating earthquake will be closed for a week, Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay said.
These are schools in the cities and provinces of Kahramanmaras, Hatay, Gaziantep, Osmaniye, Adiyaman, Malatya, Şanlıurfa, Adana, Diyarbakır and Kilis, the BBC reports.
Oktay said flights to and from the airport in Hatay province were suspended, and airports in Kahramanmaras and Gaziantep were closed to civilian flights.
