The presidential decree was hung on the front door of the Parliament, and it foresees that the new parliamentary composition that will result from the elections, will hold its first session on July 3, that is, eight days after the elections.

The MPs who won the confidence of the citizens last week had a mandate shorter than 24 hours, which is the second time in recent Greek history that the Parliament was opened for just one day.

Yesterday at 18 pm, the new 300 MPs took a solemn oath, today the President of the Parliament, deputies and secretaries were elected, and at 16 pm this afternoon, the Parliament dissolved.

Previously, the MP from New Democracy Constantinos Tassoulas with 270 votes "for" and 26 abstentions, he once again won the trust of the deputies and was re-elected as the president of the Greek Parliament
