There is a problem with polluted air in several cities throughout Macedonia, but Skopje is the leader.

Unfortunately, the capital is often among the European and world leaders in terms of air pollution. In the last few days, it has been among the top ten cities with high air toxicity.

Skopje was also among the cities with the highest level of pollution yesterday evening, according to the data from the platform of the Ministry of Environment air.moepp.gov.mk.

According to the latest measured values, the concentration of PM10 particles in the air in the center of Skopje was 276 µg/m3, which is the highest value among all measuring stations in the country.

These values ​​exceed the permitted limits, especially in the center of Skopje, where the concentrations are extremely high.
