The Ministry of Internal Affairs informs citizens and legal entities, i.e. vehicle owners, of the obligation that as of February 12.02.2024, XNUMX, they must change the license plates marked "MK" with the mark "NMK".

The Ministry of the Interior announces that, in accordance with Article 27 paragraph (1) paragraph 5 of the Law on Vehicles ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia" no. 140/08; 53/11; 123/12; 70/13; 164/13; 138/ 14; 154/15; 192/15; 39/16 and 161/19) and in accordance with Article 28 of the Rulebook on the form and content of the application form for the issuance of test sheets, the form and content of the registration sheets and the test sheets, as and the manner and procedure of their issuance ("Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia" no. 293/2020), all owners of registered vehicles are obliged to replace the registration plates containing the letter mark "MK" issued by the day of commencement with the application of this regulation (January 15.01.2021, 12.02.2024), that is, such plates can be used until February XNUMX, XNUMX at the latest.
