The city of Skopje finally remembered to put a ramp at Porta Makedonija
The tiles on the pavement at Porta Makedonija were replaced twice, which was completely reconstructed and arranged five years ago. But due to the carelessness of the authorities afterwards and due to the unhindered movement of vehicles and delivery vans to the city square, the tiles were destroyed in a short time.
After "Sloboden Pechat" raised the alarm about the situation, the City of Skopje decided to prohibit the entry of cars from the Gate, except for the residents of the buildings in the square, and the tiles were restored, a house was set up with guards who did not allow entry. However, despite that, no one could stop the disobedient Skopjes, so in a short time the tiles were broken again, and the area in front of the Gate turned into a parking lot for wild taxi drivers and deliverymen.
And finally the City realized that it could be done differently. After the broken tiles were replaced a second time, a frame was recently installed, which is raised only for residents to enter. In recent days, policemen have been patrolling here, so the taxi drivers have disappeared.
Finally, this space is stocked as it should be. But the question is, until when? There is still a little bit to clean up.
