Goten published the novel Center of the World by Andreas Steinhefel
The publishing house "Goten" published the novel "The Center of the World" by the German writer Andreas Steinhefel. The translation from German is by Iva Fidancheva.
"The Center of the World" is a novel about the problems of growing up, puberty, envy and jealousy, friendship and love. It is intended for the teenage readership. It is a sort of prose requiem for the alien in us, for the perfect importance of love, for the endless search for humanity and for the desperate need for rationality.
Steinhefel raises many questions with this novel. Although written at the end of the nineties, the novel has the atmosphere of alienation of the twenty-first century. This novel also talks about the eternal dissonance at the level of tolerance, what is necessary and necessary at a time when wars and diseases are knocking at the door.
Finally, with his novel, Steinhefel says that we have all started somewhere in our life's journey, but that we finally don't know where we will end up, and that every station in life is a new experience that writes our biography and makes us better or more complex people.
The publication of the book is supported by the Creative Europe program of the European Union.
