Divided reactions of the voters for the voting for the local elections with the new devices at the polling stations in the Municipality of Tetova. Some citizens are satisfied because the fingerprint on the fingerprint was recognized and they quickly finished the voting. But some voters are anxiously waiting in front of the polls because voting has been slowed down or interrupted by new devices that either do not recognize fingerprints or, as at the polling station at Lirija Primary School, the fingerprint has been refreshed.

We wait for more than half an hour and never enter to vote. This way of voting with a fingerprint is absurd because obviously their devices do not work, said a nervous voter who was waiting with his companion in front of the polling station in "Liria" to enter and exercise his constitutional right to vote.

Other citizens also complained because there was already a line of about 30 citizens in front of the polling station.
But it was not only the citizens who were nervous. At the polling station where, according to the Election Board, the delay is due to refreshing the data in the fingerprint, they visibly nervously refused to give us a statement.

The chairman of the polling station at the 1976 polling station at the Liria school, Faton Mustafai, told us that voting took place without major problems and that a small delay in voting was possible only if the device did not recognize the fingerprint.

The Secretary of the Municipal Election Commission of Tetovo, Nazmi Dauti says that all polling stations in Tetovo were open on time, that the voting took place without problems and that until 15:1 at no polling station there was a break of more than 19 hour for the voting to be extended after the expiration of the legally established term for voting until XNUMX:XNUMX.

- All 117 election boards that we have as a Municipal Election Commission are open on time at 7 o'clock. Although we had some technical problems this morning, the devices could not be connected to the printers, when communicating with the election boards and the IT engineers provided by the SEC, the problems were overcome. There were also citizens who could not be identified through biometric identification devices, fingerprints, ID cards and entering their ID number, but the SEC provided that the citizen could vote with a signature on the printed excerpt from the voter list, but must to leave a fingerprint, says Dauti.

He adds that so far, according to the information from the election boards, there has been no violation of the law anywhere.

Dauti said that due to technical problems, there were no obstacles in the voting for it to have to continue, but that because of that, crowds were created at the polling stations. Dauti informed that by 15:27 the turnout in Tetovo is XNUMX percent but that the data from all polling stations have not been entered.
