Gjorgjevski: The Macedonian Church becomes part of the autonomy within the SOC and after 55 will not be autocephalous
The church is one of the pillars of the Macedonian people and its bastion, but it has been put in a situation to be part of another church, with the possibility to remain open to other influences and after 55 years will not be autocephalous, said journalist and religious analyst Branko Gjorgjevski tonight in guest appearance on TV24.
"We are becoming part of the autonomy within the Serbian Orthodox Church and we remain open to influence. We will see what they will be like. "Macedonian identity was built all years because the church was autocephalous and we are all witnesses of what that church did for us and our identity," Gjorgjevski said on the show "24 Analysis".
