The best Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic advanced to the second round of "Roland Garros". Djokovic defeated the American of Serbian origin at the Philippe Chatrier stadium Aleksandar Kovacevic with 3:0, after sets 6:3, 6:2, 7:6 (7:1) in two hours and 26 minutes. The third ranked tennis player in the world will play against Marton Fuchovic from Hungary in the second round.

The beginning of the first set was equal until the sixth game, when Djokovic made the first "break" in the match. He led with 4:2, and then routinely brought the set to the end and after 35 minutes led with 1:0.

It was obvious that Djokovic read all of Kovacevic's ideas in the game, so he played even better in the second set. He made a "break" at the start, then another for 4:1, and then calmly brought the set to the end for 2:0.

And in the third set, the start was the same as in the second. Already in the opening game, Djokovic took away his rival's serve, and then confirmed the "break". However, Kovacevic raised the level of his game, which resulted in the first "break" in the match for 3:3. But the Serbian did not wait long for the "ribbreak". In the next game, he took the rival's serve once again and took the lead with 4:3.

Djokovic also had 5:3, but Kovacevic again managed to take away Nole's serve at the moment when he served for the match and reached 5:5. Kovacevic took the lead in the match for the first time with 6:5, and the Serbian ace then took the third set to a "tie-break", which he won convincingly with 7:1.

In this match, Djokovic made 40 winners and 22 unforced errors, while Kovacevic made 25 winners and 34 unforced errors.
