Novak Djokovic won his Jubilee 10 Australian Open and 22 Grand Slam trophies by winning the final against Stefanos Tsitsipas with 3:0 in Melbourne.

After the match, Novak broke down like never before, bursting into tears the likes of which we haven't seen from him every time he won a Grand Slam title, or lost a final, as was the case in the Australian Open final against Danil Medvedev in 2021.

But this title had a special meaning for Novak, especially after everything he went through last year, when he was locked up in a migrant hotel and then deported.

- Touched by Stephanos' words, thank you so much for the respect and kind words, I appreciate it and I think we can both agree that we are great rivals on the field, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't respect each other off the field and acknowledge each other's hard work. This is certainly not your last Grand Slam final, you have more time than me, I congratulate you and your team, you are one of the most professional tennis players on the tour, one of the most interesting guys, you are an extremely interesting person - Djokovic said after the AO final .

Nole thanked the organizers, volunteers, tournament director Craig Roswell, everyone for making him feel at home. He had record numbers and hopes to return to Melbourne next year.

- Don't let anyone take away your dream, water it like you water flowers, even if you find one person who will accept your dream, dream big because you can succeed. What a journey this has been for my family and me. I don't take anything for granted, I know you accept my character, I appreciate the love and support I receive. Why are you laughing, Goran, you won't forgive me for what I did to you all these years. This trophy is as much yours as it is mine, I thank you from the bottom of my heart - said Djokovic.

Considering the circumstances, he emphasized that this is the biggest victory in his life.

– I want to thank everyone who made me feel welcome, there is a reason why I play the best tennis here, before the legendary Rod Laver, thank you for being here. Only my family knows what I went through in the past five weeks, this is the biggest victory in my life, given the circumstances - says Djokovic.
