For Djokovic, this was a routine victory with a slight drop in concentration, but it still did not affect the final outcome. Novak thus reached his tenth Australian Open final.

Djokovic's opponent in the final on Sunday will be the Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas and it will be a battle for the throne of the ATP list.
