Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is the new Olympic champion. Nole won the first Olympic gold in his incredible career today in a spectacular final in Paris against the Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, after less than three hours of fighting.

Djokovic won 2:0, in sets 7:6 (7:3) and 7:6 (7:2) and thus won the Olympic gold in the late game years, which eluded him in the previous four Olympic tournaments.

In the tiebreak of the first set, Djokovic managed to break the resistance of Alcaraz, who during the first part had as many as eight break points, but did not use any of them.

Especially impressive was the ninth game, with the score 4-4, in which Djokovic saved everything that could be saved, when he defended as many as five break points.

Top quality tennis continued until the end, Djokovic showed more in the tiebreak, which he won 7-3. It was similar in the second set, in the tie-break, Djokovic was again better this time with 7-2.
