He visited all the countries in the world at the age of 22: He had to prove four times that he was not a spy
The American Indy Nelson embarked on a big trip at just 22 years old, and within 18 months, he visited every country in the world – some even more than once, like North Korea.
When he finished his adventure, he also became a Guinness World Record holder for "the most flights with different airlines" (170 in total).
Indy set off on a world trip in 2017 after graduating college and taking out an $80.000 loan. During one of his vacations, he visited North Korea, and when he returned home, he came up with a plan to tour the planet, reports "Times Now News".
Indy visited many exotic locations as well as active war zones. He tried to keep a safe distance, but things didn't always go according to plan.
"You can't plan everything. "I was afraid for my life on several occasions," he said.
He claims that he found himself in an unenviable situation in four countries, because he had to "prove that he is not a spy." This happened in Russia, Iran, Libya and Papua New Guinea, the website reported "Guinness Book of Records".
Indy says he was "held for questioning for a total of 24 hours".
"I didn't think I would leave the country. "After the fourth time, it was no longer scary," he added.
Indy says he enjoyed visiting Cambodia the most, where he met a unique culture and very friendly people.
