Germany is planning a significant increase in military aid to Ukraine

The German government is planning a significant increase in military aid to Ukraine. For this purpose, the budget committee at tomorrow's session wants to approve additional funds in the amount of 12 billion euros, reported "Frankfurter Rundschau".
The money will be used for the direct delivery of weapons to Ukraine, as well as to replenish the Bundeswehr's stockpiles, which have been depleted by the deliveries to Ukraine.
According to the newspaper, the Bundeswehr will be able to spend the first funds already this year. The resolution foresees funding for the following years as well.
So far, about three billion euros have been allocated for German arms aid to Ukraine. With the decision planned for tomorrow, this amount will increase to 15 billion euros.
