Sociologists: Voter turnout in Bulgaria is lower by 3 to 5 percent compared to November 2021
Voter turnout in Bulgaria is 3 to 5 percent lower compared to the last parliamentary elections in November 2021, sociologist Borjana Dimitrova from "Alfa Research" told BNT.
As reported by the MIA correspondent from Sofia, according to Dimitrova, this is the result of the people's agenda and their concerns, but also of the messages of the politicians who did not respond to these concerns and problems.
Fatigue and apathy, as well as the lack of hope speak for themselves, she commented.
Gallup's sociologist Kancho Stojchev comments that there is no drama in voter turnout – the number of voters decreased by around 150.000 fewer people. According to him, the voters in Bulgaria punished him "We continue with the change".
