- The department for inspection works of the Municipality of Centar in cooperation with PS Centar and inspectors from the State Market Inspectorate conducted an extraordinary inspection this morning to remove illegal resellers around the Green Market, informs the Municipality.

The local government reports that the citizens who live in the buildings and the surroundings of the market have submitted complaints and requests for the removal of resellers to the municipality on several occasions.

- Because of the resellers, free movement on the sidewalks is very difficult, and the entire space is full of trash and garbage that they leave behind. The municipality will carry out regular actions until the final removal and termination of this practice, informs the municipality of Centar.

From there they say that in addition to the chaos that is being created, no institution has insight into the goods they sell and the way they sell them.

- This inspection follows the requests of the citizens, who, both in the meetings we had with them and in other ways, asked us to deal with the resellers who are obviously creating problems for them. Shopkeepers who regularly rent a stall in the closed part of the market also complain about wild resellers. In order for someone to be able to sell in a public space, he should have proper documentation. Anyone who does not possess appropriate documentation is subject to control and sanctions. For us, the residents and their living conditions are always our first priority," said the mayor of Centar Municipality, Goran Gerasimovski.

The municipality announces that in the coming period, frequent joint inspections will be carried out at other locations in the Center where illegal resellers are located.
