Agency for Youth and Sports (AMS) announced the winners of the vouchers for sports federations, clubs and athletes.

On that occasion, it was announced Tokyo Olympic runner-up, Macedonian taekwondo fighter Dejan Georgievski (who received a voucher in the amount of 350.000 denars.)

He once again expressed on social media the desire to rejoice our country again with a new medal at the next Olympics in three years in Paris, but also can not understand how any other athlete at this time can have greater financial gain with sports a voucher of his success.

- Dear friends, thank God I am training like never before, I live for the moment when I will make Macedonia happy again, relatives, friends, the whole nation! The coaches, the club mates are all focused on Paris, we are determined, God will decide.

This time I want to address exactly my people, the journalists, all those who rejoiced with me when we reached the historic silver medal, I address all those who finally after the long Olympic darkness saw the light for the Macedonian Olympic sport, to all that they felt proud and fulfilled, to all those who when they saw the Macedonian flag on the Olympic throne felt Macedonian!

As expected, I was named the best athlete in 2021, but not at all expected today I found out that the sports vouchers awarded by the AMC, ie yesterday's decision for vouchers, I hope unknowingly aims to humiliate OUR Olympic success, my Olympic silver medal, the first in the history of independent Macedonia.

I will never allow myself to attack any sporting success, firstly because that is how my coaches raised me, and then because I know very well what the sport of knighthood means, no matter what sport it is.

But I can not understand how any other athlete at this time can have a greater financial gain with a sports voucher than my success, no sane person in our country will find common sense in what was done yesterday by the commission for awarding vouchers at AMC. Shame!
I do not want to think that this is a deliberate and conscious attack on the silver Olympic medal, much less I do not want to think that politics or anything like that is involved in all this.

I just want this injustice to be resolved today, I am looking for this only for principled reasons, I am looking to defend the historic silver medal brought from Tokyo with blood, I am looking for Dejan Georgievski, the Olympic silver medalist, but I want all of YOU to ask me because this success, this Olympic medal, this realized Olympic dream belongs to ALL OF US, and no one, absolutely no one has the right to cast a shadow on it.
For the time being, for the time being I do not want to go in and point out to the public what turmoil I went through from the institutions before I won the Olympic medal, there will probably come a time for that as well.
