Georgievski failed to bring a new medal, losing in the quarterfinals of the European Championship

The current Olympic runner-up, Dejan Georgievski, failed to make the nation happy again and to win a medal at the European Taekwondo Championships being held in Manchester, England.

Georgievski in the category over 87 kg, lost in the quarterfinals to the Croatian Pasko Bozic with 9:20.

At the European Championship, Macedonia was represented by three taekwondo fighters, Dejan Georgievski, Anamarija Georgievska and Filip Dodevski.

Dodevski lost to Turk Taha Bijer, while Anamarija Georgievska was defeated by Magda Vet Henin from France.
