GALLERY: Protest march about pollution - "Are they giving you clean air from a party"?

With a protest march, which started in front of the building of the Ministry of Environment, this afternoon "Green Humane City" and several other civic initiatives express their dissatisfaction with the extreme air pollution.

The march will continue in front of the Parliament and end in front of the Government building. The reasons for holding the protest, as they say from "Green Humane City", are the deaths caused by air pollution which, according to the organization, amount to 17,7 percent of the total mortality in the country on an annual level. Almost 4.000 deaths caused by exposure to PM2.5 particles, which are among the most harmful to health, are recorded in Macedonia every year, according to the call for a march from "Green Human City".
