The latest offering from the Italian fashion house is aimed at dogs who really have it all, with a price tag to go with it…

The inspiration for the product the world didn't know it needed came from "unconditional love" that Domenico Dolce – one half of the famous design duo "Dolce and Gabbana" – he has her to his own "loyal dog Fefe", the company's website states.

That page describes it the perfume, called "Fefe", as "a fragrance masterpiece containing warm notes of kananga, clean and enveloped with a touch of musk and woody creamy shades of sandalwood". It was designed by the master perfumer Emily Copperman, transmits CNN.

Priced at €99 ($109) for 100 ml (3,4 oz), Fefe comes in a "smooth green lacquered glass bottle, adorned with a vibrant red metallic cap and a precious 24-karat gold-plated handle."

The package also comes with a "D and G" dog collar (available in two sizes), with a tag (engraving is optional).

A series of pampered dogs pose for the cameras in a promotional video on the Dolce & Gabbana website. As classical music plays in the background, the narrator says: "I am delicate, charismatic, authentic, sensitive, mysterious, rebellious, fresh, irresistible, pure." Because I'm not just a dog. I'm Fefe."

In the instructions it is recommended to the owners to spray Fefe on their hands or brush and proceed to rub or brush the dog's fur from mid-body to tail.
